Passenger Capacity
The Pilot offers flexible seating for up to seven or eight passengers, depending on which trim you choose, and has ample 3rd-row and total cargo capacity. If you go with the EX-L, Touring, or Black Edition, then you’ll also enjoy the versatility of an on-demand removable 2nd-row middle seat, which you can conveniently store in the on-demand In-Trunk seat storage.
Temperature Regulating
Staying warm on cold days is easy with a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, and available heated 2nd-row seats (outboard position only) and captain’s chairs. Plus, on hot days, stay cool with the available ventilated front seats that circulate cool air through the perforated leather-trimmed seating.
LED Lights
Specially-engineered to use less energy and help you see better (and be seen), every Pilot trim is equipped with LED daytime running lights, auto-on/off high- and low-beam headlights, taillights, and fog lights. Also, mirror-integrated LED turn signal indicators are available.

Every Pilot comes with a 285-hp* 3.5-litre, 24-valve, Direct Injection, DOHC, V6 engine with 262 lb.-ft. of torque*. And to help every litre go further, the Variable Cylinder Management® (VCM®) system is designed to automatically switch between six and three cylinders, depending on the driving conditions.
Can you rely on the Pilot to give you more driving confidence? Yes You Can. With a simple flip of a toggle, the drive modes (Normal, Econ, Snow, Sport, Tow, and available Trail and Sand) are engineered to dial in the throttle, suspension, and steering to match various driving conditions.
The 10-speed automatic transmission can either shift automatically or with the use of paddle shifters. You can depend on the Pilot to help enhance smooth acceleration and deliver a remarkably fluid drive.
With trims delivering combined fuel consumption rates ranging from 11.0-11.8L/100km*, an Eco Assist™ system that helps you monitor how efficiently you’re driving, and an ECON drive mode that helps you get more out of every litre, you can rely on the Pilot to help you make every adventure a more fuel-efficient one. It also features Honda idle-stop system, which is designed to help prevent excess emissions through idling.
For a smoother ride, the Pilot’s 2nd-generation Intelligent Variable Torque Management (i-VTM4™) AWD system is engineered to increase responsiveness and handling, so you take to the road with greater confidence.

Touchscreen Display
The standard 7" (and available 9") touchscreen is your portal to the centralized system that controls your settings and the loads of tech features in your Pilot. Like Apple CarPlay®*/Android Auto™* (also available wirelessly) that seamlessly connect your compatible devices for directions, messages, music, and more, the available 12-speaker BOSE® Premium Audio System (including a subwoofer), and the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™* with bilingual Voice Recognition.
Added Safety
The BSI* system with Lane Change Assist is engineered to detect and alert you of any vehicles in your blind spot when signalling a lane change, while the Rear Cross Traffic Monitor* system is designed to use the multi-angle rearview camera* with dynamic guidelines to alert you of any vehicles crossing behind you when you’re in reverse.
Key FOB
If you’re dreading the cold, the remote engine start can rev up the engine before you’ve even left the house. And, thanks to Smart Entry, as you near your Pilot with your key in your pocket, the driver-side door will unlock automatically, so all you have to do is get in, push the “start” button, and you’re off. Plus, when you leave, the Walk Away Auto Lock® has been engineered to use the key FOB sensor to lock up behind you.
TFT Display
Every Pilot trim comes with a 7" colour TFT centre meter display (or available 10.2") with Driver Information Interface which conveniently indicates essential info, like: speedometer, tachometer, odometer, fuel consumption, and more. It even connects you to your music and navigation system, all with a touch of a button on the steering wheel.

Active Safety
The Pilot adds extra peace of mind for driver and front passenger with the rear seat reminder*. If you open one of the rear doors at the start of your drive, this feature is engineered to give you an audiovisual alert after you park and turn off the ignition, reminding you to check for rear-seat passengers.
Traffic Sign Recognition displays traffic sign information to assist the driver while the vehicle is moving forward. The camera is designed to recognize traffic signs and display their information on the Driver Information Interface.
Passive Safety
To assist with safe stopping, the 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System* (ABS) is designed to help you maintain control under hard braking conditions, while Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) helps to optimize braking power based on weight distribution inside the vehicle. In addition, Brake Assist is engineered to help improve braking performance by applying brake pressure when a panic stop is detected.
If you take your foot off the brake when stopped on an incline, this feature is engineered to temporarily maintain brake pressure to help prevent your Pilot from starting to roll backwards.

Vehicle Stability Assist* with Traction Control is designed to sense and help correct oversteer and understeer scenarios to enhance handling and cornering stability, while Traction Control is designed to minimize wheel spin when accelerating on loose or slippery surfaces, helping to inspire greater driver confidence.
The highly innovative, Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure is engineered to help disperse frontal impact energy to enhance occupant protection, while more effectively controlling it in severe collisions to help prevent intrusion into the passenger cabin.
The cabin of every Pilot trim features an advanced air bag system that includes front knee airbags and three-row side curtain airbags with rollover sensors, designed to deploy in the event of a rollover. Plus, it has SmartVent™ side airbags, which are designed to deploy safely in a manner that mitigates the risk of injury to out-of-position or smaller occupants.
