Honda Sensing®*
The FCW system* is designed to detect the presence of vehicles in front of you and issue audible, visual, and tactile alerts if you’re approaching with too much speed. If you fail to respond, CMBS®* is triggered into operation.

To help reduce the likelihood or severity of a frontal impact, CMBS®* is engineered to apply light brake pressure if you don’t respond to FCW system alerts. If it still senses an imminent collision, CMBS® is designed to brake forcefully.

The LKAS* is engineered to gently correct your steering if you begin to leave a detected lane without signalling, applying torque progressively to the steering to help guide you back to the centre of the lane.

The ACC system* with Low-Speed Follow is designed to keep a constant speed and set following interval behind the vehicle detected directly ahead of yours, including the ability to slow, stop, and start with the flow of traffic.

The auto high beam feature is designed to automatically change the low beam headlights to high beam headlights depending on the surrounding conditions.
Traffic Sign Recognition displays traffic-sign information to assist the driver while the vehicle is moving forward. The camera is designed to recognize traffic signs and display the information about them on the Driver Information Interface.

To assist with safe stopping, the 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)* is designed to help you maintain control under hard braking conditions, while Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) helps to optimize braking power based on weight distribution inside the vehicle. In addition, Brake Assist is engineered to help improve braking performance by applying brake pressure when a panic stop is detected.
Vehicle Stability Assist* with Traction Control is designed to sense and help correct oversteer and understeer scenarios to enhance handling and cornering stability, while Traction Control is designed to minimize wheel spin when accelerating on loose or slippery surfaces, helping to inspire greater driver confidence.
When you take your foot off the brake, this feature is engineered to temporarily maintain brake pressure to help prevent your vehicle from starting to roll backwards when stopped on an incline.
The Odyssey helps prepare you for the unexpected with a seatbelt reminder function, now on all seating positions, that’s designed to alert you when any passenger in the vehicle doesn’t have their seatbelt fastened. Every seat has 3-point seatbelts and the two front seats are height adjustable and have an automatic tensioning system. This is all to help ensure that staying safe is comfortable and convenient.
Innovative pedestrian safety features include an energy-absorbing hood and front fenders and deformable wiper pivots.
The highly innovative Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure is engineered to help disperse frontal impact energy to enhance occupant protection, while more effectively controlling it in severe collisions, to help prevent intrusion into the passenger cabin.

The cabin of the Odyssey contains eight standard airbags. It features an i-SRS front airbag system, knee airbags, as well as three-row side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor system, designed to deploy if a rollover is detected. Plus, it has SmartVent™ side airbags, which are designed to deploy in a manner that mitigates the risk of injury to out-of-position or smaller occupants.

With a combined fuel consumption rate of up to 10.6L/100km* and an Eco Assist™ system that helps you keep an eye on how efficiently you’re driving, you can rely on the Odyssey to help you make every family adventure a more fuel-efficient one. Every Odyssey comes with a 3.5-litre, 24-valve, Direct Injection, SOHC, i-VTEC® V6 engine with up to 280-hp* and up to 262 lb.-ft.* of torque – enough power to tow a lightweight* camper. And, to help every litre go further, the Variable Cylinder Management® (VCM®) system is designed to automatically switch between 6 and 3 cylinders, depending on the driving conditions.
The10-speed automatic transmission (AT) with Grade Logic Control is designed to give you exceptional control and helps improve fuel economy.
