On the one hand is the gas-only Civic, powered by a 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder engine that outputs up to 150 hp* and 133 lb.-ft.* of torque. On the other is the Civic Hybrid, a nearly-identical gas engine complemented by two electric motors combining together to deliver up to 200 hp* and 232 lb.-ft.* of torque. Whichever you choose, you’ll know you’ll be choosing an invigorating drive.
The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) on gas-only trims and the electro Continuously Variable Transmission (eCVT) on hybrid trims help enhance fuel efficiency and provide improved acceleration (versus conventional automatic transmissions), making the Civic one remarkably smooth drive.
Adapting to driving conditions is easy in the Civic Sedan. By simply toggling up or down, you can choose between four drive modes: Normal for cruising, ECON for added fuel-efficiency, the available Sport for dynamic handling, and the available Individual for a personalized drive.
The rear suspension on the Civic was engineered to improve stability and help you corner more nimbly, so you can experience a smoother, more composed drive.

The HondaLink™ Assist Automatic Emergency Response System* helps you get the help you need when you need it most. If the airbags deploy, your touchscreen is designed to automatically attempt to put you on a call with an operator who will forward your location to first responders if needed. It works with any compatible Bluetooth®-paired phone as long as it has reception, does not require a subscription, and gives you added peace of mind while you’re on the road.
