On one side, you have the gas-only Civic Hatchback, driven by a 2.0-litre in-line 4-cylinder engine producing up to up to 150 hp* and up to 133 lb.-ft.* of torque. On the other, the Civic Hatchback Hybrid pairs the same gas engine with two electric motors, combining to give you up to 200 hp* and up to 232 lb.-ft.* of torque. No matter which you select, an exhilarating drive awaits.

The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) on the gas-only trim and the electro Continuously Variable Transmission (eCVT) on hybrid trims help enhance fuel-efficiency ratings and provide improved acceleration (versus conventional automatic transmissions), making the Civic Hatchback one remarkably smooth drive.

Multiple Drive Modes

Switch between four drive modes with a toggle. Normal covers your everyday drive, ECON boosts fuel-efficiency, Sport provides more dynamic handling, and the available Individual allows you to personalize your drive.

Traffic Sign Recognition* (TSR)

Traffic Sign Recognition* (TSR) displays traffic sign information to assist the driver while the vehicle is moving forward. The camera is designed to recognize traffic signs and display their information on the Driver Information Interface.
Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)*

The LKAS* is engineered to gently correct your steering if you begin to leave a detected lane without signalling, applying torque progressively to the steering to help guide you back to the centre of the lane.

Forward Collision Warning* (FCW)

The FCW* system is designed to detect the presence of vehicles in front of you and issue audible, visual, and tactile alerts if you’re approaching with too much speed. If you fail to respond, CMBS^®* is triggered into operation.
Collision Mitigation Braking System™* (CMBS^®)

To help reduce the likelihood or severity of a frontal impact, CMBS^®* is engineered to apply light brake pressure if you don’t respond to FCW* system alerts. If it still senses an imminent collision, CMBS^®* is designed to brake forcefully.

Lane Departure Warning* (LDW)

The LDW* system is designed to monitor vehicle lane position and issue visual and tactile alerts if your vehicle drifts into another detected lane without signalling.
