Honda Sensing®* Technologies
Every Civic comes equipped with intuitive technologies designed to help keep you, and everyone on the road around you, safer.
Redefine your drive with eye-catching style that’s also functional.
Sleek lines, a sportier front end, and thinner corner air intakes give the all-new Civic Hybrid a streamlined aesthetic. A redesigned honeycomb grille and 18" aluminum-alloy wheels, its poise. And the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine collaborating with two electric motors? Those were engineered to help ensure that you get up to 200 horsepower* that purrs. Because nothing makes a louder statement than a quiet ride with presence.
Enjoy a heated power door mirror design that not only adds a touch of euro-style sophistication, but even helps you be seen, literally, thanks to the available mirror-integrated LED turn signal indicators.
Boasting a muscular headlight design, the Civic’s LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), auto high-beam headlights, and taillights help ensure you’ll see and be seen.
Wherever you’re going, arrive in style with available 18" aluminum-alloy wheels.
At the simple push of a button, the available one-touch power moonroof will fully open, letting in more light and increasing airflow. Ultimately, it makes an already spacious ride feel even more spacious.

On the one hand is the gas-only Civic, powered by a 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder engine that outputs up to 150 hp* and 133 lb.-ft.* of torque. On the other is the Civic Hybrid, a nearly-identical gas engine complemented by two electric motors combining together to deliver up to 200 hp* and 232 lb.-ft.* of torque. Whichever you choose, you’ll know you’ll be choosing an invigorating drive.
The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) on gas-only trims and the electro Continuously Variable Transmission (eCVT) on hybrid trims help enhance fuel efficiency and provide improved acceleration (versus conventional automatic transmissions), making the Civic one remarkably smooth drive.
Adapting to driving conditions is easy in the Civic Sedan. By simply toggling up or down, you can choose between four drive modes: Normal for cruising, ECON for added fuel-efficiency, the available Sport for dynamic handling, and the available Individual for a personalized drive.
The rear suspension on the Civic was engineered to improve stability and help you corner more nimbly, so you can experience a smoother, more composed drive.
It’s easier to conserve fuel with the help of the standard Eco Assist™ system. Simply hit the ECON button and the Driver Information Interface will indicate how fuel-efficiently you’re driving – keep the light green and you’ll get more out of your tank.
