Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS®).

To help reduce the likelihood or severity of a frontal impact, the CMBS®*is engineered to apply the brakes if you don’t slow down when it senses you’re at risk of a collision. If it still senses an imminent collision, CMBS® is designed to brake firmly. The CMBS® utilizes a millimeter wave radar unit, located behind the front grille, and a monocular camera located between the rearview mirror and windshield to scan traffic conditions ahead of the Accord Hybrid.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system.

Using a camera behind the rearview mirror, the Lane Departure Warning system* is designed to monitor vehicle lane position and alert you when your vehicle drifts into a new lane when you haven’t signaled. Lane Departure Warning provides visual and audible warnings prior to other Honda Sensing™ Systems actively engaging.
